Flame TV are currently making a new daytime consumer affairs series for BBC1. The show is based around our high profile consumer affairs expert solving members' of the public consumer problems caused by companies or organisations not delivering the services and standards they are obliged to. The episodes also feature our expert training people in the art of negotiation to help them get cheaper deals on the items they want to buy. In our 'social justice' section our consumer expert will be meeting members of the public who are currently suffering from a consumer issue. After examining the facts and investigating their stories he will go with our cameras to tackle those in the wrong head on. We have already investigated stories involving tax credit problems, lack of promised disabled facilities and builders not completing major works on homes. We are very keen to hear from anyone with consumer problems which they feel unable to deal with who would benefit from our consumer affairs expert taking on their case in the show. With our 'big buy' section our consumer expert will be helping people to get a cheaper deal. We are looking for people who know what they want to buy and are ready to get it, but need to save money on the purchase. We are keen to hear about any major purchase but especially if it falls within the following:
